Joint Entrance Examination, commonly termed as JEE, is a national level engineering exam. It was first conducted in 2002 and all IITs, NITS, etc. accept the JEE Score to admit students to their undergraduate courses. The JEE has 2 papers, JEE Main and JEE Advanced. JEE Main is an entry-level exam with a lower level of difficulty. Its score is accepted by NITs, IIITs and other prestigious institutions. Once you clear the JEE Main, you are required to sit for the JEE Advanced, which is compulsory if you want a seat in the IITs.

JEE questions are based on the NCERT syllabus with an advanced level of difficulty. The trick to solve the exam is comprehensive knowledge and speed. You are required to solve a question within one to two minutes.

1. Willpower is the key to victory

Willpower is important key to success. This is because, if you're not determined to clear any such exam, then you won't be able to study severely.

2. Have a Curious Mind

You should have a curious mind and ask questions whenever you are reading a particular theory. This will help you to gain a better understanding of each concept and solving various twisted questions based on the same theory.

3. Revise your syllabus 2-3 times

You have read it absolutely correct but for getting through such exams successfully covering the whole syllabus is not enough.
Rather you should revise the whole syllabus for 2-3 times to get a good hold on all the subjects.

4. Solve Multiple Mock Test

The common mistake made by most students is they never review what they have solved. It is highly recommended to all the students that they should always go through Mock Test. After the first mock test you will have a list of your strong and weak areas. Utilise these insights to work on your weak areas and with each mock test you would find yourself getting better.

5. Manage your Time Effectively

If you don't utilize your time effectively, you won't be able to complete and practice in time. To keep a better track of the time you allot to various chapters, revision,practice and test, you can make use of time management apps. This will give you reminders for different events.

6. Choose the Right Reference Book

Once you are thorough with your books, move on to reference books. Reference books will help you greatly in clearing concepts deeply and building your knowledge. These books are designed by top experts specifically for IIT JEE preparation.

7. Do not lose Hope

You should also be ready to handle failures and take them in a positive way as a motivation to do better next time.

Note:
Shoulds should note that along with the hard work, study, proper diet, sleep, physical activities are also very essential, because only then the body will be able to focus on the study.
